USE & DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Always try a little test patch on a healthy bit of skin first, such as the back of your hand, and wait for 15-30 minutes before more liberal use.

Apply with care not to put directly on to open skin - apply around the open area instead.

Take care not to lather the salve on top of active infections, pus-filled or ulcerated sores, as it can create a barrier on top, trapping the fluids that need to be drained - carefully apply the salve around the area instead. If unsure, test on a small patch of skin and wait 24 hours to observe whether it has helped or hindered.

It is beautiful lathered on dry, cracked skin from eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis, but keep in mind a salve creates a barrier, and the area will stay moist for some time - this is part of why it is so nourishing. Consider using it at a time of day when the salve can just sit and slowly infuse over an hour or so, if possible.

BIRTH & CREATION INFO

Created May 2025

INGREDIENTS

Calendula officinalis and Symphytum officinale infused in a 1:1 mix of sweet almond and jojoba oil, high quality beeswax.

SAFETY & CAUTIONS

Calendula and Comfrey are considered safe herbs, though those allergic to plants from the Asteracea family should consider avoiding it’s use.

As already mentioned, do not apply directly on to open wounds but instead apply around them. Do not lather over pus-filled or ulcerated wounds, as the barrier the salve creates may inhibit proper drainage of waste fluids from the wound, and trap the infection within.
