After-Sun Care Cream 50gm

This beautiful, soothing and cooling cream was designed for sun burn related discomfort, and to support the healing process post burn. Chickweed and spearmint are both cooling and healing to the skin, while shea butter is renowned for its ability to hydrate, nourish and protect the skin. The formula for this cream was purposely kept simple, as burned skin can be extremely sensitive to even low quantities of added essential oils, synthetic ingredients or complex formulas.

This cream can also be used for any hot or irritable skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis or hives. This product has a beautiful creamy texture to it, which leaves a light protective layer over the skin for about 30 mins while soaking in.

IMPORTANT - Please read on for important care instructions. As this cream can melt when exposed to higher temperatures, express post is recommended.

USE & DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Topical application only, as often as needed. Always try on a small test patch of burned skin before applying to entire burned area, to test for discomfort or unexpected reactions. Best kept in the fridge to extend longevity of the cream, and to add to the desired cooling sensation when applying. As this cream uses very fresh ingredients and has no added chemicals to enhance shelf life, it is best used with 3-6 months, but may last longer if cared for well. After application, do not expose skin to sun while the cream is soaking in - keep covered up!

Apply to dry, itchy, red, sore or inflamed skin, with care not to put directly on to open skin - apply around the open area instead.

Do not expose to heat such as a hot car or direct sunlight as the cream will liquify - it will re-set and become solid again in cooler temperatures.

Stellaria media fresh aerials infused in almond and jojoba oil, Mentha spicata hydrosol, shea butter and beeswax.

SAFETY & CAUTIONS

Chickweed and Spearmint are traditionally considered safe herbs with low chance of toxicity.

Do not apply directly on to open wounds or broken tissue. You can instead apply it around them. Do not lather over pus-filled or ulcerated wounds, as the barrier the balm creates may inhibit proper drainage of waste fluids from the wound, and trap the infection within.
